3 ways to develop intuition

 When we are born, we are purely intuitive and observant. We learn from observing the behaviors of others and modeling our parents and peers.

Human beings are psychic by nature. Yet, we diminish our connection with the psychic world by becoming more aware of the physical world.

What exactly is intuition? It’s our perceptive awareness of things unseen.

Your intuition is a psychic GPS, directing you along life’s journey. Go this way, make a turn, take a detour…keep going or the road is closed ahead. Do you always listen to intuition when it tells you to quit the job, take a chance, or trust/don’t trust certain people?

During my consultations, I often hear clients say, “I should have listened to my gut,” “I had a feeling it was going to happen”, and “Intuitively, I knew it was the right thing to do.”

After all, intuition never lies. It comes from a place of the Soul or infinite intelligence beyond the veil. Your Higher Self is always talking to you. However, the guidance is not direct but often perceived as a feeling or inner knowing. Collecting knowledge and reading books won’t make you more intuitive. In grander reality, we still know very little based on our limited experiences and lifespan.

The deliberate conscious practice of trusting yourself will make you more intuitive. It’s easier said than done. Most people don’t like themselves and therefore don’t trust themselves. They would much rather go to a roadside psychic to get guidance on significant life decisions.

Intuition enhancers are meditation and solitude. Meditation will quiet the mind and open psychic channels. Information feeds the mind; meditation frees the mind. You want to be informed but also free from addictive patterns.

Solitude is really a Soul - itude. Spending time alone, taking walks in nature by yourself, reflecting, doing introspection and self-inquiry will shift you into inner awareness of the Higher Self within. The voice of your intuition comes from your Higher Self, which is your Soul's Inner Voice. Intuitive guidance does not come from outside. You are born with it.
